Who We Are

Our Teams

Achieve Sports Academy is structured around four key areas. Each team plays an important role in delivering safe, high-quality provision for children and schools.

Leadership & Operations

The leadership team oversees the strategic direction, safeguarding, operations and quality assurance of all Achieve Sports Academy (ASA) provision.

  • Director / Proprietor: overall responsibility for the organisation
  • Safeguarding Lead: safeguarding policy, training and incident oversight
  • Operations Manager: day-to-day coordination of school and camp delivery

Sports Coaching Team

Our sports coaches deliver curriculum PE, Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) cover, after-school clubs and wraparound provision in primary schools. All coaches hold relevant qualifications and are DBS checked.

  • PE & Sports Coaches: deliver structured PE lessons and sports clubs on school sites
  • Club Leaders: lead breakfast, lunchtime and after-school club sessions
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Mentors: experienced coaches who deliver school-based teacher mentoring

Swim Learn Achieve Delivery

Swimming sessions are delivered through our partnership with Swim:ED, using qualified swimming instructors who understand primary school settings.

  • Swim:ED Qualified Instructors: deliver National Curriculum aligned swimming sessions
  • Lifeguard Support: qualified lifeguards in attendance during all swimming sessions
  • Pool Operations: responsible for pool setup, maintenance and safety compliance

Play, Holiday Camps & Events Team

Our holiday camps and event teams are made up of experienced, energetic staff who create safe, fun and well-structured environments for children.

  • Camp Leaders: oversee holiday camp sessions, timetables and safeguarding
  • Activity Instructors: deliver sports, games, Nerf Wars, dance and creative sessions
  • Events Coordinators: organise school enrichment days, sports days and themed events

Our Commitment

What You Can Expect from Our Staff

Trained and Qualified

All staff are recruited through a safer recruitment process, including enhanced DBS checks and reference verification. Qualifications are confirmed appropriate to their role.

Consistent and Reliable

We assign consistent staff to each school and session, helping build strong relationships with pupils and a clear understanding of school routines and expectations.

Professional and Approachable

Our teams are trained to engage positively with children, parents and school staff. They model inclusive behaviour, use positive language and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Safeguarding Trained

All staff receive safeguarding training appropriate to their role and know how to identify and report concerns. Our designated safeguarding lead oversees all safeguarding practice.

First Aid Qualified

First aid qualified staff are present at every session. Provision is confirmed as part of each booking or school agreement.
